Getting started: buy, install, and connect
The complete first-time walkthrough from purchase to a working data connection abroad.
This guide walks you through your first eSIM from start to finish. The whole process usually takes under ten minutes.
1. Check compatibility
Make sure your phone supports eSIM and is unlocked. If you are unsure, run the device compatibility checker.
2. Buy your plan
Pick your destination and the amount of data you expect to use. After checkout, your eSIM and QR code appear instantly in your account and inbox.
3. Install before you fly
Tip
Install while you still have Wi-Fi or your home connection. You do not need to activate yet — installing early just saves time on arrival.
4. Activate on arrival
When you land, turn on the new eSIM line and enable data roaming for it. Within a minute or two you should see your destination network and a working connection.
That's it
You now have data abroad without roaming charges. Track your usage anytime from your account.
