eSIM installed but no service or internet

A systematic checklist to fix "No Service" or no data after installing your eSIM.

Important

Work through these in order. Most no-service issues are fixed by steps 1–4.

    Enable Data Roaming

    Settings → your eSIM line → turn Data Roaming ON.

    Set the data line

    Make sure mobile data is set to use the travel eSIM, not your home line.

  3. 3

    Restart

    Toggle Airplane mode on/off, or fully restart the phone.

  4. 4

    Check the APN

    On Android, set the APN manually if needed — see the APN guide.

  5. 5

    Select network manually

    Turn off automatic network selection and pick a supported local network.

Good to know

If you still have no service after all steps, run the APN troubleshooter or contact support with your device model and destination.
