Setting the APN for your eSIM
What an APN is, when you need to set it, and how to enter it on iPhone and Android.
The APN (Access Point Name) tells your phone how to connect to the mobile data network. Most eSIMs set it automatically, but some Android devices need it entered manually.
Good to know
Your plan's APN value is shown in your account under the eSIM details.
Android
- 1
Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Access Point Names.
- 2
Make sure the correct eSIM is selected at the top.
- 3
Tap Add (+), enter the APN name and value, and save.
- 4
Select the new APN, then toggle mobile data off and on.
iPhone
iPhones usually configure the APN automatically. If needed, go to Settings → Cellular → your eSIM → Cellular Data Network and enter the APN.
